On behalf of everyone at Fleetwood RNLI, we would like to thank you for attending the naming and blessing ceremony of our inshore lifeboat, D-853 Harbet.
As lifeboats have a relatively long life, these special days are infrequent and so, all the volunteers look forward to the occasions when they occur.
Your attendance was especially appreciated and we were honoured to be your first engagement of this special year for you and your wife, Brenda. No doubt there will be larger and more distinguished events in the next twelve months, but we all know, you never forget the first !
Once again, many thanks for attending and we hope to see you again at our Open Day, on 15th July.
Please find attached a couple of photos of the occasion.
Kindest regards Ken Harcombe Lifeboat Press Officer
